Payment
Procedure
Clients can pay their bills by Cash, money order,
and paper checks are also acceptable, for your
convenience.
Our policy requires that 100% of the payment
for services for visits be paid up front for a
schedule of five days or less.
If you will be gone five or more days, 50% of
payment is due, with the balance due on or before
the first visit. Daily visit payments are due
on a weekly basis.
Policies
Consultation: To ensure that
service is carried out to meet your specifications
and your pet's needs to the best of our ability.
The consultation is done at your home with all
new clients prior to starting services with Precious
Pets.
Cancellation: There is no fee
for cancellation of services if you contact Precious
Pets by 8:00 p.m. prior to the scheduled visit.
A Cancellation fee of $10.00 will be acquired
if not given enough notice for daily visits. Please
understand we at Precious Pets have reserved this
specific time for your pet and have possibly turned
away other potential clients for that session.
Vacation Care: Payment of 50%
is to be made at the time of reservation and the
remaining balance is due prior to first visit.
Cancellations made 12 days in advance will be
refunded. Any cancellations done thereafter will
only receive 50% refund toward any service (dog
walks and/or future pet sitting). The remaining
balance is not refunded.
Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas
Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years
Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th
and Labor Day. An additional $5 per visit surcharge
for visits scheduled on the holidays listed
above.
Availability: Precious Pets
is available year-round, in any weather. Rain,
snow, or sunshine. Please book early for your
Precious Pet!
Payments: Payment is due
at the start of a vacation service. Payments
for daily visits (dog walks) can be paid at
the end of the week ending. Returned checks
are subject to a $25.00 surcharge.

Are you bonded, insured, and licensed?
Yes we are, upon request we can provide
proof of bonding and insurance.
Do my dogs need to be licensed?
Yes, all municipalities require this,
and we ask that this law be followed for the
good of the community.
How much notice for cancellation do
you need?
At least 24 hours.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes, we need a signed statement that
you agree to let us into your home to care
for your animals as well as that you are aware
of and agree to our policies/procedures.
How am I billed and when is it due?
We bill up front per week, so we ask
for the week's payment by the time of the first
visit of the week.
Do you have references?
Yes, we can provide you with a list
of satisfied clients.
Will my dog receive individualized
attention?
Yes, we do not "group walk".
How long have you been in business?
Since late 2002
What if I need emergency pet care
service?
We will try to accommodate you as
best as possible, but cannot guarantee on very
short notice that we can provide service.
Are there any extra costs on holidays?
Yes, An additional ($5.00) per visit.

and for the pet and owner to feel comfortable
with us and our service.
